<He was squeezed through a tiny dimensional hole, but this sort of transportation made him unstable and made Lixan prone to just disappearing randomly. Don't worry, I have a plan to make the generator not work anymore anyways.>

Suddenly, the lights began to filcker. Lixan looked at the generator and went over to it. He crept up to it and touched it, and it promptly electrocuted him. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, this hurts, ow." The box lost it's blue glow, and the lights went out again. Lixan then promptly passed out from the electrocution, and slid down the steps.

Nick facepalmed as a pair of other survivors jumped up to help Lixan, "Idiot." He murmured as they laid him down on a blow up mattress, "Let's touch the glowy box with electricity coming from it."

The horde had slowly begun to thin. Layla noticed Souji on the other side of the swarm, "Souji!" She called out enthusiatically.

Souji gave her a sour look, "You burnt out the Wild Card to stop that nuke? I would've makaja'ed it myself."

She rolled her eyes, "That would've deflected it somewhere else and it would've killed a lot of people. I abosorbed the radiation and just let the electromagnetic pulse fire. It was the only way to keep everyone safe."

"Smart girl." Tom noted as he spun catching a rogue infected across the back then finishing it with a blow to the head in the same stroke.

Ronan flipped the Naginata in his fingers, taking down zom after zom. He had noticed the thinning horde was fading out, but the fight still wasn't over.

Lixan slowly woke up and glared at Nick. "Something of my own design doesn't just do that." He walked back up the stairs and grabbed the box, now drained of all it's electrical energy. He walked back downstairs and pointed out a throwing knife stuck in the box where the saftey locks were to Nick. "It was tampered with."

The horde had finally fallen, the last of the zoms crawled towards Ronan, pathetically. He lay the naginata down, much to the obvious dismay of Layla, and walked towards the legless man-eater.

He sighed saying, "Looks like you could use some help, boyo." The person was obviously turned at around Ronan's age, and the boy from the Emerald Isle felt as though this was his duty, to lay to rest this defenseless kid, who had no thought of what he was doing anymore.

He jumped out of the reach of the zombie, as it gnashed its teeth at him. He straddled the zombie beneath himself, before shoving the blade into the base of the skull.

"Can I have the remainder of those wires back now? Your device is sabotaged and I would like to be able to use those wires for other things," Flynn told Lixan as he held his hand out.

Lixan disconnected the wires and gave them to Flynn.

"Thanks. You never know when you might need some spare wire. So, Nick. What should we do now that the generators are fried? Are there any other groups that might need our help?" Flynn asked as he slipped the wire back into his pocket.

Ronan stood and looked around at the group that he had just fought with. Daniel was off to the side trying to figure stuff out, shown openly by the blank, frantic stare he was giving the butcher that lay at his feet.

Ronan turned slightly, heading towards the newcomer, "Ronan McDowell, security officer," he stuck his right hand out.

Lixan threw the box up the stairs and over the balcony. "Well, no use for it anymore, seeming as all of the good materials were fried."

Tom took his hand in an irongrip and shook it, "Nice to meet you, Tom Imura, closure specialist. By any chance have you heard anything about a girl named Nix?"

Nick nodded, "We should probably find those solar panels at the hotel. If we could set those up here, we'd at least have power for necessities."

Flynn nodded and added, "We should probably get some food and water together before we head out. We're going to need it if we are going to carry the panels back here."

Ronan thought carefully, "You know, I think I remember being asked that before," his eyes seemed distant as he stared at the ground and thought, "Yeah, yeah I have! I was driving Jake Smythe back to the lifeguard house, and he asked me about her."

Daniel came over to the pair, "What's this now?" He looked between his friend and the stranger, sticking his right hand out, "Daniel Johnson. Former Security Guard."

Lixan agreed with Nick. "Good idea. That... electrum... in the generator is a rare metal to come by, and solar panels use a silicate derived from it."

Tom frowned irrititably, "That doesn't help me much... He's another survivor from our bunker that went looking for her. He's part of that honeymoon couple right?"

Souji nodded, "Nix... Those bandits! One of them said something about their group in the city... But, the road's blocked by burning wreckage... I had to climb over the damn mountain. And that'll be impossible without persona."

[Atlantis_Rising]

Ronan nodded, then turned to face Souji, "I think the five of us could make it there easily. I had to run through the city on my own in the early goings of the infection," he looked around the group, "If we clear it with Sinamoi, we should be able to take care of ourselves, even if we need to take a couple more people with us."

Daniel looked at him irritably, "Kid, your heart's in the right place, but I don't know about going all the way back to the station just leave right afterwards. We need to move now. The faster we move, the quicker we can save the girl."
