Re: Fallout NYC
The man stops talking “Fine my name is Robert Romanoff but my friends call me Roach. I was formally associated with a group of wasteland raiders and I didn’t agree with their methods so they locked me in that room to die and I probably would have if you hadn’t have found me. Although it seems my situation might not have changed much.” He pauses and looks around at the group “Anything else would you like to know or are you all just going to kill me and pretend like you never saw me?”

Re: Fallout NYC
Tim stepped up, "Why did they lock you in there?" He gave the stranger a serious look. He wasn't too sure what to think of this guy, but he had never heard anything good about the raiders out here.
Re: Fallout NYC
Roach looks directly at Tim “Well it seems you weren’t listening when I was talking earlier so let me go over it again, I was with a group of raiders and I didn’t agree with their methods. So I lead a bit of a coup and that went south so they locked me in that room and killed everyone else.” He looks back at the rest of the group “Does anyone else have any questions I haven’t already answered?”

"Why were you upset when you learned that we were from a Vault?," Max asked.

Re: Fallout NYC
He looks at the boy speaking to him “Fine you all deserve to know the truth, I don’t know when, why, or who put it out, but there is a pretty substantial reward for the live capture of any and all vault dweller.” He smiles “Besides I have no reason to bring it up I sure ain’t gonna turn you in, you all just saved me why rat out the people you owe your life to right?”

Re: Fallout NYC
Max puts his hand under his chin and thinks for a moment. Reaching a conclusion, Max states, "If people are offering a reward for Vault dwellers, then we need a change of clothes. As long as we aren't wearing the Vault suit, most people won't try to bother us."

Re: Fallout NYC
Naxius asked, "What if the suit is obscured by armor, like mine is?" He tapped the chestplate of his armor once, his jumpsuit unable to be seen under the hulking armor.

Max shakes his head before answering, "If any of us got hurt and needed to see a doctor, we might not be able to remove the jumpsuit and they would know."

Re: Fallout NYC
“Pipboy here makes a good point, you have to get rid of those vault suits all together or you may as well paint a target on your backs.” He points to Max’s wrist “You can keep the Pipboys though there a pretty common item” he holds up his own wrist to show his own Pipboy “You can find vault tech anywhere now a days.”

Naxius said, "Then, we should find some clothes, but I suggest doing it in the morning."

Re: Fallout NYC
Tim walks up looking back down at the raider, "Vault tech? Anywhere?" he looks to Max, "That should make things easier on us, right?"
Re: Fallout NYC
“Yah vault tech like the Pipboy is common stuff. And on a side note all kinds of wasteland freaks wander at night so setting up camp here for the night would be the safest bet for you all. By the way I think we should start over. With introductions I mean seeing how we started off on a bit of an odd note, I already said so but I’ll say it again just in case some of you didn’t hear me. My name is Robert Romanoff but you all can call me Roach if you want. Now what may I ask are your names or what should I call you?”

Re: Fallout NYC
Max let out a small huff before responding with, "Even if Vault technology is common around here, the amount of processing power and memory that a Vault's mainframe has would be wasted for anything that is not exceedingly complex. Any group that is using one would not be willing to give it away, same with the tools required for maintenance." Glancing over to 'Roach', he replies, "My name is Maximilian, Max if you prefer."

Re: Fallout NYC
"I'm Seth Lore, if you want to call me anything, and this goes for all of you, call me Nikola" He said. It was funny, you see, before he was basically cut off from his family tree, his love of making things fry themselves in electrical currents earned him that name. His dad told it was because of some inventor that died in the 1900's, through that info was found in a trashed book.
Re: Fallout NYC
Tim took his hat off and did a rough sort of bow, "Timothy G. Walsh," he stood and smiled, replacing his hat, "but I prefer Tim." He had relaxed a bit now, seeing that he really didn't need to worry about this guy.
Re: Fallout NYC
Naxius looked to Seth. "Nikola? As in Nikola Tesla? A crazy scientist who pioneered the development of electricity in the 1900's?"

Re: Fallout NYC
Seth nodded. "Must be the same guy, I got the name while I was younger, and I liked playing with electrical wiring"
Re: Fallout NYC
Sighing, Max told Roach, "This is Naxius," as he waved his hand in the person in question's direction.

Re: Fallout NYC
"Now then, introductions are done. It is..." Max quickly checked his Pip-Boy, "8:00 at night. We need to eat something and go to sleep. I don't really want to find out what kind of creatures come out at night."

Re: Fallout NYC
Tim nodded in agreement, "That thing at the door looked tough as it was, and it was just bones. No need to take risks we don't need to take."
Re: Fallout NYC
<Metalhead will be unavailable for a time and has asked me to act for him>
Roach swept his arm across one of the shelves to clear it off and laid out five kebabs of a brownish meat. Taking one for himself, he dug in to the meal for a moment before looking up and gesturing to the others. "Dig in."

Re: Fallout NYC
Seth walked forwards and picked up a kebob and ripped off and chunk of meat before popping it into his mouth. "What is this " he said after he chewed and swallowed the cooked flesh. It wasn't bad, just a bit too cold for his liking though.
Re: Fallout NYC
Naxius followed Seth, picking up a kebob and taking a chunk of meat off and eating it. "Ditto."
