Adachi brought about his own Keyblade, angling it to parry the attack before spinning to keep his momentum and aim a downward slash at Byakurai.

Byakurai stepped to the side.

Quickly stepping back to discourage Byakurai from taking advantage of his recovery time, Adachi attempted to hook his opponent with the teeth of his Keyblade, pulling him in before aiming a horizontal slash for his abdomen.

Byakurai pulled in, quickly reacted by covering with his arms, which in hindsight wasn't that good of a idea.

Continuing with the attack, Adachi spun around again to increase his momentum for a second slash.

"Oi, they look to be scared stiff" Said one figure to another.

"Indeed" came back in reply.

"Shame that I cannot train them. Seeing apprentices and young masters with keyblades in hand again makes me remember the old days at the training grounds."

"Yes, I remember hearing about some of your lessons from your former students."

"Aye, I wasn't that harsh on them"

"I heard you made one group hop on one leg across the running track, blindfolded, with their keyblades in their teeth..."

"Hey, I didn't say I was not harsh."

The more elder looking figure, gruff in a militaristic appearance plopped down on the ground, reaching into a coat pocket for a flask. The younger figure, covered head to toe in a white coat, still stood, his eyes fixed upon the current duel set before the two.

"Whelp, my money is on the lad with the spread stance, he looks like a scrapper." Said the older figure, now taking a sip from his flask.

"I don't believe I should take that bet." Said the other figure in reply.

"I taught you well then haven't I?" The elder figure said with a chuckle.

From behind the two figures appeared two more, one with a smirk on his face, the other much like the elder figure but more robust around the edges.

"Sorry we're late, I had issues getting him out of the pub, everyone there wanted to arm wrestle him..." Said the smirker.

"Hey, I was on a roll" said the other in response. Both sat down next to the elder figure.

"No matter, just be sure to pay attention. It is not often these days to see a keyblade family train" Said the figure in white.

Realizing the mistake, he blocked using the Keyblade, and then aimed the guard of the Keybkade for Adachi's stomach.

Adachi slid his own blade down on his opponent's, bringing their hilts together, using the force of the push to jump backwards and think out his next move for a second before trying to strike again.

Byakurai spun his Keyblade and trusted straight forward.

Adachi made an attempt to parry, using the motion to spin around, jump, and aim a kick for the back of Byakurai's head. "Impressive skill! I'll have my work cut out for me, trying to keep up with you in training."

Lance nodded, "I'll assume that Nick can plan accordingly for your training. He knows you and your fighting styles better than I do."

He looke specifically to Sylvia, "You should probably go talk to Daidara after your through with Nick's plan. I put your sword on rush order, you'll need your blade for the fight."

"And don't worry about the quality of the work, Daidara just moved a couple of other projects back. Your blade was higher priority." Thalia explained.

Ducking under the kick.

"You'll never catch up. You'll always be far behind me!"

Now standing, Byakurai slowly steps back, watching his very own steps closely.

"Oh? Maybe you haven't been paying attention. Class just started, and I'm about to school you!" Grimacing at his own bad joke, Adachi dropped after the kick, still spinning, swinging at Byakurai... holding his Keyblade by the chain, adding about a foot's worth of reach to it.

After the swipe, he jumped back himself, firmly gripping the hilt proper. Hm, interesting trick... but certainly not something to rely on often. Surprise attacks only work once, afterall. Hah, imagine wielding a Keyblade by the chain. Ridiculous.

Byakurai surprised, falls on his behind.

Byakurai chuckles. "Clever. Both your comeback and sudden change in grip". Byakurai rolls back and kicks up; landing on his feet.

Roland fell back from where he was sitting, chuckling like a mad hound howls.

"You saw that, right? The lads mocking you old friend" Roland says between his fits of laughter. Beside him, Oxthmas just looks up and smirks, Gregor simply looks on, confused.

Gunamnex for a moment conceives of drowning Roland with a summoned large pitcher of Ale, but simply shrugs off the thought.
"No respect for the arts" he murmurs under his breath.

-Or they saw Adachi's trick, which is a reference to how Yuki fights. I dunno what they mean by their words, not for sure. Either they think he's doing it on purpose, or they know he doesn't realize how that trick is similar to Yuki's fighting style.>

Byakurai switched positioned.

Turnt sideways, he grabbed the Keyblade by two hands, and raised them up past his shoulders and near his head. Static electricity began to charge, and released bolts of lightning, loud thunder releasing each shot. Very slow between blasts.

Jumping and rolling out of the way of the first attack, Adachi expected another in quick succession... however, the pause between the first and second blasts threw him off, and he came out of a second dodge roll just as the bolt was fired, knocking him several feet back and injuring him, forcing him into a kneeling position.

"That's... that's not good." He tried to deflect the third one, now understanding the timing between attacks. "I'm not taking another of those anytime soon."

"You should have trained more with us, Adachi. You would have known known the pattern". And then he released the final bolt.

"You shouldn't forget..."

Adachi crouched and sprung high into the air, sailing over the attack, coming down Keyblade-first.

"...I'm faster on the uptake!"

Byakurai was stunned, shocked, unable to move.

Noticing that his opponent wouldn't be able to block the strike, Adachi quickly switched to a kick, delivered to the shoulder from above. He didn't want to see Byakurai bleed, but he didn't want to lose, either.

Once he had struck, he bounced off and landed, leveling Sinister Truth at his peer. "...That was pretty close."

There was a strange sound nearby, like somebody clapping once... or, rather, like somebody starting to clap before realizing that they shouldn't.

Crap, crap, crap, crap crap crap, crapcrapcrapcrapcrap-! I really hope nobody heard that... It wasn't very loud, but these guys have senses sharp enough to cut granite.

Falling on his back he stood there. Shocked. He rolled back and kicked up landing on his feet once more. "Why didn't you strike?!" Byakurai almost angry with his family member.
