<I don't mind Seifer personally. It's just the only way that Lance and Thalia have interacted with Seifer is with Hayner, Pence, and Olette. Thus, thier attitudes toward him.>

Aleri shook his head. "Not quite so, Lance. If you looked at me, and didn't see some of the qualities underneath, you would think I'm some prettyboy. Or you'd think I was a girl. It's happened, just when I thought it never would; I was mistaken for a girl. Figures."

Seifer had finally noticed the group. He stood up, punching his palm. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the bunch of chicken-wusses. And who are the outsiders?" His eyes narrowed as they fell upon Aleri Thalia, Lance, and Dante.

Lance's eyes flickered challengingly, "Lance Willright. I really don't take kindly to name calling. Just saying."

Before anyone else could respond, Seifer felt a hand on his shoulder. "Do I need to punch your lights out again?" came the emotionless tone.

Seifer didn't dare turn around, but the newcomer was perfectly visible to the others. Other than the Twilight Town trio, Aleri was the only one who actually recognized the gray-jacket wearing fighter.

Aleri laughed. "Well, if it isn't Siks! What're you up to?"

Seifer cast his gaze towards the ground. "Only a coward attacks from behind, you know."

Vita shrugged. "I was expecting somebody a little more impressive-looking, but I can't really judge based on looks. Still, I thought you'd have tougher build. You look kinda in-between when it comes to agility and strength."

"Tch." Seifer turned around and glared at Siks. "What act? I'm willing to fight you again, anytime."

"Who's this guy?" Vita asked.

Aleri was quick to answer. "That's Siks, a friend of mine. He looks kinda down... It's not like him to be that depressed. You can tell, behind his cocky attitude, he's not as happy as usual. Yo! Siks, you may want to be careful about that frowny-"

He was unable to finish his warning, as Vita had already thrown a punch at Siks' face.

Siks' hand immediately shot up and caught her fist. "I'd advise against that. That goes for you too, blondie."

Vita just pouted, ignoring the fact that Siks had just caught her punch. "C'mon, stop frowning! That's Rule Number One in my town!"

Aleri shrugged. "Wow, you're awfully lucky, Siks. You managed not to get punched. Lemme tell ya, she hits hard." He rubbed the back of his head, which was still sore.

Seifer crossed his arms. "...The hell did I do to deserve this...? First, an outsider comes along and thrashes me, then he comes back to take what's left of my dignity?"

"'S not cool, Y'know!?"

"UNFORGIVABLE."

Lance's fists curled, "I could take you on just as easy as Siks! You're just an egotistic punk!" Lance glared at Seifer and his crew.

Dante looked up and tapped his finger on the edge of the styrofoam bat. 'Why does it always appear to be a conflict or confrontation going on...' he thought as he watched. "Punch his lights out Lance" Dante said.

Vita slid her hand out of Siks' grasp. "I dunno, he may just surprise you. He once took on several guys at once, no trouble. Another time, he got steamrolled by Hayner in less than a minute. He sure has his days, though."

"It's a bad idea to underestimate people, Lance." Aleri warned, putting an arm between the king of Synthisle and the head of the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee. "Even somebody who isn't always up against Heartless and the like. Seifer's a tough one, he just doesn't take things seriously. If he were pitted into life-or-death situations like us, he'd be on the same level, like it or not."

Lance rolled his neck, "Tch, like I care. Someone who acts like him needs to learn how to treat others."

Aleri glared back at his friend. "You can't just use force every time you meet somebody you don't like. Can't you sense his emotions? ...Oh, wait, that's just me. You don't have, like, fifty additional senses. He's put up that facade for a reason. Has he ever actually, genuinely caused people HARM? Think a little before you act, Lance."

Siks merely raised his hand, signaling Lance to stay back.

"I told you, I didn't mean to knock over that vase!" Seifer argued.

"You didn't exactly do much to correct the mistake, either," Siks retorted, "Now do yourself a favor and go home."

"Or what, poser!?" Seifer threw a punch at Siks. Siks merely grabbed Seifer's arm and pulled it around to his back, shoving him forward and sending him tumbling into his friends.

"Or that," Siks replied, "Think this one through. We both know I can take you on even with your friends backing you up. Do you really think you can handle me while you're outnumbered?"

<Okay, you can have him back.>

Seifer wiped his mouth, glaring at Siks. "...Let's go." He turned and walked away with Fu and Rai.

Vita sighed. "Awwww, I wanted to fight him." She immediately regained her cheerful disposition, turning to Siks. "So, you're even stronger, right? Can we have a Struggle match? 've been looking for tougher guys to fight. And Seifer's... uh, kinda stubborn. He doesn't really want to fight me. I guess he doesn't want to hit a girl... or he knows I'd thrash him."

Siks closed his eyes and sighed lightly. "I'm not in the mood." With that, he walked over to a vase of flowers that was sitting on one of the benches and adjusted it's position. "I'm sorry," he whispered.

Lance settled his momentary anger and looked to Siks, "You know... I got Susan transportation here a while ago. She mentioned something about you two having issues. This may not be the best time but what happened?"

I dunno who they're talking about, but... it was obviously somebody important to this Siks guy.

<Just to clarify, her arm was gone. Replaced by a mechanical one.>

Aleri raised his head. "Er, what exactly DID happen? I can't seem to remember how it got that way..." He winced as he touched his own arm; the arm Susan had injured recently.
