@Gregar: lololololol wait WHAT. I've been gyped! And how did you get DEMYX'S card before Ursula?! I thought you couldn't get those until AFTER you beat Marluxia! What. Even. Stupid Treasure cards are stupid hard to find anyway.
@Haar: Put it off is what I meant.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
Key to Rewards cards? Yeah, they can be a serious pain in the ass to find sometimes. But you get them from Floor 7 onward. I can't quite remember where you get Demyx's card, but I know Atlantica is Floor 7 or later, so it's entirely possible. Speaking of which, I still haven't beaten Riku mode...I'm sitting probably about halfway through it, maybe a little less...I did manage to beat the first story, though! I mean...if I'm halfway through Riku mode, that's kind of a given, so I don't know why I'm talking to you like you can't figure that out, but...Know what, I'm just gonna shut up now, kay?

Re: General Discussion Mark II
Haar, my advice is to level up attack as soon as possible, do a few levels of health per floor, and the rest into DP. I know DP is wonky but as you get higher up it's not too bad. Really, each floor shouldn't take you too long, and the only boss I had trouble with on in Re:CoM was Zexion. In Vanilla it was Ansem. BUT SERIOUSLY. FUCK ZEXION. FUCK HIM IN THE... well.. You get my point.

Usually what I've been doing is just rotation. Cycle between everything. It's been working well so far, at least throughout the first story it was fine. Final boss gave me pretty much no trouble at all...but oh, Vexen...you were such a pain...

So, that rule applies to things other than comic books? Good to know.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
i finally got past it after trying all morning but here's what it was... the game is WWE 2k14
It was a 60 minute iron match between Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Shawn Micheals
Playing as Shawn you had to go the ENTIRE 60 minutes (while hitting 3 specific "spots" throughout the match) with neither one of you scoring a point not scoring yourself is easy enough but as the time goes it got harder and harder to not let bret score a point and if he did (which he eventually did and which frustated the heck out of me (cause then I had to start the whole match ALL OVER)
once you hit the 60 minute mark with 0-0 you had to hit 2 finishers and then win the match...which I was doing alright to hit the finishers but then I would end up losing and just.....

That sounds kinda fucking stupid. One HOUR of gameplay for one match? Nope.

I did eventually beat that match with all the historical objectives hit (you have to hit them to unlock things and reenact certain parts of the real match)

Dear God I thought YouTube fucked up it's comments yesterday.
Nope.
There's now NO CHARACTER LIMIT.
I just scrolled past something, and hoping it wasn't what I thought it was, scrolled back up.
Someone posted FIVE CHAPTERS of SMUT right into a Grumps video.
Appropriately enough, the username was FuckGooglePlus.
I don't even anymore.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
Seeing as how this seems the most proper place for it, here's my second LP episode: https://youtu.be/SDCLQGKXPfo
I would like to note that while I sound a little bit "tired", I was more neutral this episode and being loud and energetic doesn't work with my microphone or the other people in my house. Sorry about that. Other than that, I cut back a little on stutters and I think it's a slight improvement overall.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
It was pretty nice, I've gotta say. The outro feels like it could've been smoother. It was sorta "Here's the star. Goodbye." It's a pretty simple thing, too. It probably could have been fixed with a "and with that," to try and tie it into the game commentary and make it feel cohesive. Also, the whole "Stay beautiful, stay healthy, dancekick out" thing felt kinda forced. Just do something simple. If your outro is ever going to be something more convoluted, it'll come to you on its own at the end of a video.
Take, for example, two of my favorite commentators, Generikb and Cr1tikal.
Cr1tikal's outro is simple, usually along the lines of "Alright, I'm done playing this. Remember to rate and comment the video, subscribe if you'd like to see videos similar to this one. See ya."
It's simple and effective, and although people usually don't like to hear "Like, comment and subscribe" after every video, it works because of his style of one and done videos.
Generikb, on the other hand, has a more complex outro.
"Take care. Brush your hair! I'll see ya when I see ya. Peace!"
But he's stated that he didn't think about what his outro was going to be to come up with it. It just happened at the end of one of his videos and stuck.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
Definitely better, I can tell you that. You sounded less tired to be sure, and a bit more interested as well. A quick warning for you, live commentary has a tendency to make the game harder in that you're trying to play the game while talking. However, I find that it provides for a more interested feel, where it's less like, "Oh, okay, I failed here, next," and more like you're actually watching someone play the game, where it might be more like, "And I freaking HATE ICE PHYSICS." Just an example.
As far as your note on failure and cutting, something I've seen done that I think is a benefit is the "fail montage." Basically, just splice all your failures together, just the clip of the fail itself and your response, followed by the successful attempt.
All in all, though, definitely solid. I'd usually follow that up with something, but I just had a total brain-fart. So, yeah, I'd say you did a good job for sure.

Re: General Discussion Mark II
Being loud and energetic is something that should be avoided unless you want to be like those living cancers known as PDP and Tobuscus (or however his name is spelt, he's not worth the attention in that detail to me). I only watched about... the first four or so minutes and I say your voice is fine the way it is for the most part. A neutral voice has an appeal in itself if you ask me.
Also as Haar_Dragon noted, a lot of people love failure montages. It's something you should honestly consider doing once you have finished the LP.
