If I wanted to do guides, though, I'd separate them from my LPs.
You do LPs? I'm curious, what's your channel's name?

That statement was wholly hypothetical. I don't have nearly the right amount of gear or programming or video editing skills to do such a thing. Nor do I have local friends who can visit often. God damn jobs and shit. XP

Re: General Discussion Mark II
In fact, the Admin once expressed the desire to do an LP of Persona 3... I, personally, think I'd be too inconsistent with it. I might get bored of it and forget to update regularly, and I HATE it when people do that. If I hate it to happen to me, why do it to other people?
And, on my own, I don't provide the best commentary... I'm better with co-commentary, to be honest.
If I were to do an LP - though, since I too lack the equipment, this is still hypothetical - what would I even do? There aren't any games where I could be considered an expert. Hell, half of them I'm not even proficient in. I had to do grinding to beat FFX, and I think I ended up grinding one way or another in the other games in the series - even accidentally in some cases, believe it or not - and in Disgaea, I'm absolutely pathetic. I need to develop better battle strategy... You should see me play Final Fantasy Tactics. I haven't cleared the third fight of the game, and I've seen multiple game overs.
Mega Man I'm pretty good at, but not amazing. I can't beat the games effortlessly, it's a big deal when I win. But I have the skills to do it... Still, I don't think I'm worth watching in that regard.
Persona games are just too long-winded. Doing an LP of those games is tricky, thanks to the Social Links system. It really isn't very fun to watch, not nearly as fun to watch as it is to play. Persona 3 and 4 are so fun to socialize in and goof around because you have control. I really hate that one guy, the one who named his MC Charlie Tunako... Watching his LP was too boring for me to finish. And I'm not easily deterred by boredom; it takes something that's painfully boring to turn me away, or for it to become pointless.
In fact, if one were to do an LP of Persona 3 or 4, and were remotely popular, they should have a pole on what to name the MC, and perhaps some minor poles dictating such things as which personality stat to focus on more, or which Social Links to prioritize. That's just my two cents.
This is all hypothetical, just so we're clear. I don't want anybody getting their hopes up, thinking that they will be able to watch me gloriously and masterfully tackle such-!
*Rexial appears, punches me out, then vanishes.*
...Sorry, playing Disgaea too much lately. It brings out my more arrogant, cocky, braggart persona.

I think you'd be decent, but you'd have to have a consistent stream of media. For longer games three times a week might be necessary, and cutting out random battles and grinding. For shorter, more intense/involved games, a recording during the session and less frequent updates should suffice. I'd probably play for a few hours, get my footage, doctor it, and then present it for most RPGs, and for other genres I'd just time myself for ten minutes, get to a stopping point and then tell them thanks for watching, tune in next time.

No, Brick and Lilith are terrible for a single player game. Roland with his turret that resupplies health, ammo, and shields midbattle is much more helpful when playing alone.
Re: General Discussion Mark II
Brick has huge HP and power, and Lilith had... something, I forget. And apparently I forgot that the turret could do that too. XD

All of the trailers for RWBY are out. They're all badass beyond words and Rooster teeth is amazing.

Ah, didn't know Yellow came out. I'll check that out later. Wish they would have finished Dead Fantasy though.

Well, I guess I am the only person not interested at all by RWBY. I am just seriously unimpressed by it. I've seen three of the trailers, and just liked nothing about them. It honestly felt like I was watching "DeviantART: The Ninja Gaiden Web series". Or something like that.

No, you're not, I don't care either. Note my lack of a response since that was posted.
In other news, I'm tired and have been thinking of increasingly unusual things all day, so I'm just gonna call it a night.

Well, one of the later ones was beating someone in the head with a 2x4...so more "unusually violent" than "unusual"

I think zelda's motivations are quite clear if you look at the title of the video....
He is clearly bored.

As I've stated before, there are better things to do while bored! Read a book! Watch TV! Watch a movie! Hell, look at porn, I don't care, it at least makes sense!
