Sammy decided to look around the castle. He walked out of his room, Naomi following him.

Maya smiled happily sitting down, "Yeah! Two ice creams!"

Thalia smiled ruffling the younger girl's hair, "Lucky you huh? How was Eira?"

Maya smiled birghtly, "Maya thinks she's really nice! She bought me a necklace!" She said showing off the trinket.

Rexial reappeared in front of Sammy and Naomi in a burst of darkness, the suddenness enough to knock over several nearby objects. "Yo. When you're done with your self-guided tour, you have remedial lessons in asskicking to take, Sam. Naomi could probably use a little sharpening, too. If you want, I could show you around first."



Twilight Town: Station Tower

Aleri took his bar, smiling. "She is a nice person, but sometimes, I just don't get her. She can make an emotional one-eighty, even if she isn't given any reason to. Call me crazy, but I'm not good at talking to girls, now am I?"

He absentmindly took a bite, choking on it for a second. "S-Sorry, just... salty. And sweet. I'll never get over the taste of the ocean in ice cream form. I can't even decide if I really like it, or if it just evokes old memories."

His mind flashed back to an instance of a female voice insisting that he try the ice cream... And it somehow becoming a sort of tradition to eat it whenever he hung out wth friends.

Maya smiled, "You've got that right!" Maya stated a little too enthusiastically.

Thalia gave her a disapproving look, "Maya!"

"What?" Maya asked confused.

Nick shrugged, "Alright then." He said handing the two their ice creams from the vendor.

"Where to?" He asked complacently.

"Yeah. Why is every girl I meet either crazy, doomed, or already taken? Some are even both." He chuckled. As if getting a girlfriend was that high up on his list of priorities... He had training to do.

<Gah, I have felt that Al has a slight problem in that he doesn't have anybody he cares about more than anyone else. He has his friends... and there are more than thirty of them, and they're all pretty equally important to him. And they're all strong. He can't get in on the whole "Protect my friends/ the one I care about" dynamic.>

<They're fine without it, but Al's the kind of character who probably needs that kind of dynamic at some point. Otherwise, he'll just become a badass, and I'm trying to make sure Al isn't always like that. Right now, his incompetence is enough. ...Meh, actually, he could probably be fine, just keeping that incompetant streak. Nevermind. I can't come up with a legitimate argument. My only point is that your characters aren't suited to that dynamic.>

"You decide. I'm too lazy to think now that I'm brain-freezing," Archer sighed as she began laving her ice cream.

"Well, I'm guessing pillaging is out of the question," Sylvia chuckled, wincing slightly at the dry looks she received. "I'm kidding! Mostly. Well, is there anything good to see in Synthisle? What's this place really known for in the universe, 'sides Lance's castle?"

Nick shrugged, "Well if you're willing to hike there's a beautiful spot out in the woods." He suggested.

"And just what are you going to do with two ladies out in the woods?" Archer asked playfully.

Nick just face palmed silently, "Not THAT if that's what you're suggesting."

"I never suggested anything," Archer smirked, "I was asking for your suggestion."

[Admin (HalcyonWandering)]

Nick rolled his eyes, "You are SO evil sometimes... It's just a nice place to relax is all. It's either that or Daidara's Metalworks, that's about it that's prominent here..."

It took a moment for Sylvia to comprehend what the two were implying, her face twisting into a look of complete horror. "You better damn not be suggesting what Archer's suggesting!" She snapped at Nick with a look of pure fury, before turning to Archer. "I'm checking out the Metalworks. There ain't no way in hell I'm hiking now..."

Nick recoiled from the sudden outburst, "Sylvia, wait!" He shot Archer an irritated look, "WAY to go." He spoke as he took off after the girl.

Archer shot the two a droll look. "You two seriously need to lighten up." She sighed as she followed after them.

(Sylvia apparently doesn't approve of being in an OT3. XD )

"You can keep your weird camping trips between yourselves," Sylvia sniffed, glancing around town with a furrowed brow. "I want to check out this Metalworks place anyway. Sounds like something more up my alley. Uhh...just point it out to me, and I'll leave you to it."

"If you need a new weapon, I could make one for you," Archer offered blandly. "Bladed weapons is my forte."

[ARanger]

"I'm not gonna replace Sarah!" Sylvia looked horrified at the mere thought. "I'm thinking more about...customizing her. If I'm gonna travel the universe, she's gotta have more gumph, you know? Like...an enchanted element, or something. I wanna talk to a proper blacksmith anyways," she shrugged lightly. "No offense."

Archer shrugged. "If you want to. I'd give you a heads up though. Very few weapon makers can make or enhance them like I can."

[ARanger]

"Is that a hint of vanity I hear there, Archer?" Sylvia's lips curled into a sly grin. "You might want to watch out for that."

[Admin (HalcyonWandering)]

Nick smirked, "Then, Daidara is the guy to talk to. He's a great smith."

Archer smiled back mysteriously. "I'm sure. But eh, let's see this Daidara guy."

Sammy screamed, and jumped a bit at Rexial's sudden appearance. He then realized what he said and said,"Ok. You lead the way?"
