"So you're in, then. Great. Now, as for your tests..."

Naomi, a bit confused, said,"Tests?"

Lance's brow drooped in contemplation, "Maya could attempt a Deep Dive. Maybe she could pull some of your memories back from wherever they dissappeared to..."

Maya jumped from Lance's shadow landing on his shoulders, "Or maybe Aleri could spend more time with her and see if his memories come back naturally." She poked the side of her own head, "Maya doesn't remember a lot of stuff from before Infernus but she remembers more whenever something familiar happens." She hung backwards off of Lance making it necessary for him to grab her legs so she wouldn't fall. From where she was hanging, she pierced Aleri with a concentrated stare, "Then, Maya wouldn't have to do so much work and Aleri could remember more!" She giggled as she flipped off of Lance and walked beside him.

"Probably should have told you about that," said Dispatch. "See, we have to test your strength." He finally reverted to normal. "And the best way to do that is to have you fight us. No worries, we aren't going to kill you or anything, just a simple test."

A malicious grin spread across Rexial's face. "Yes, every new member needs to pass a test, to prove that they are on-the-level, or at least have the potential to be as strong as us."




Aleri's sadness melted away, replaced with a grin. "I'd hate to leave all the work to you, Maya."

Naomi devillishy grins and says,"Bring it on!"

Dispatch laughed. "Well, that's the spirit! Well, the nearest two veteran members are the two of us, so...to the training room." Dispatch led the others to said room.

Sammy and Naomi proceeded to follow Dispatch.

Maya smiled happily, "Good, so we're going to Twilight Town soon right?" She rocked on her heels for a moment then skipped to keep up with the group, "Maya loves Sea Salt Ice Cream..." She made an illusionary bar, "But, her illusions don't taste quite right." She licked the ice cream then glared at it. A wandering Darkball approached and she threw it at the creature.

The ice cream detonated on impact, obliterating the heartless, "Oops." Maya smiled a bit too sweetly as they moved on.

Aleri's grin became faint, but... the look in his eyes was one of contentment. "Yeah... We should go again soon." He whispered distantly.



Minutes later, Rexial was sitting in the stands, ready to observe the battle. "I'll be judging whether you have the potential to become as strong as us. I think I'll be a litt more strict than last time... when Kizu joined, we thought we saw a flicker of potential. This time, if we don't see enough of it, we may not let you join."


<That reminds me, I actualkly made Sea-Salt Ice Cream recently. ...I think I put in too much salt. It tasted... like seawater, only with sweetness. Bleh. Next time, thouh, I'll get it right! >:| >

Dispatch drew his sword. "So, which of you is first?"

Sammy said," I'll go first."

Archer shrugged, "A world's heart contains more than just memories of the world it belongs to. Since you profess to know so much, there's nothing to tell. Now then, let's head back. I'm starving."

[Admin (HalcyonWandering)]

Thalia stepped into Archer's path, a plain look upon her face, "You're being evasive. What did you see Archer?"

Lance smirked, "Alright then! It's decided. We'll all go back after we're through with this issue here. After all, there seems to only be a single cocoon left and that's a step in the right direction."

[NebulaGregarZX]

"...Eira, you're being awful quiet. Something bothering you?" Aleri asked, his contentment overwritten with concern.

[Namine]

"Yeah i am fine." She smiled

His worries faded, and Aleri focused on the present. "Well, you were the one who wanted to know about it. I didn't want to make things complicated, when I really didn't know for sure. Did you havwe somehting to say about it earlier, or did you just want to know what I was hiding?"

[Namine]

"Dont worry about it. its not my buisness. Do you think we should report back to the organization?" She looked at her shoulder

"Nah, let's wrap this up first. We can report back in afterwards."

[Namine]

"What exacly is there to wrap up?" She said with weak voice

[NebulaGregarZX]

"Destroy the last coccoon. If possible, we'll complete your Focus, too. It's not like Xeromus makes us check in after everything that happens, and he gives us free reign most of the time. Sure, I'll tell him about this when we get back, and he's tracking the PDAs Lance and I have, but that aside, he's uninvolved." Aleri handwaved. "Don't expect the organization to crush your personal goals for its own benefit."

[Namine]

"Its not that easy though. i have no link to what my actual focus is."

[NebulaGregarZX]

"Well, we'll do what we can, and see if we figure it out along the way. Personally, I don't feel like leaving until we're done... but, uh, that kinda means that if we stay here and accomplish your Focus, you'll be crystal. That kind of existence, being forced to work as some kind of slave to a high-and-mightly Fal'cie... that just pisses me off, the idea of it."
