Kyouko stood ready starring at the Pokemon. Growling with its sharp teeth exposed.

The Snorunt gritting its teeth.

<Damn, I am so inconsistent with past-tense and Pre-tenses. :/>

"Snorunt! Icy wind!"

"Snoo-!" It breathed its air in, but was cut off by the charging Poochyena and was bitten.

"Runt!" It shrieked in pain.

"Oh no! Quick use it now!"

It attempted the attack again, it blew out icy wind out throwing the Poochyena back.

And ran once more at the Snorunt.

"Again!"

It inhaled and blew out icy wind again. Frost all around the Pokemon. It moved shakingly.

"Great! One more time!" Kyouko pointing her finger out as the Pokemon delivered the final blow fainting the puppy.

"Yes!" She jumped in the air, Snorunt sharing the same expression!

They jumped and hugged at their first victory. In their minds giant hearts were everywhere!

Quil walked into the clearing and put his hands on the grass, closing his eyes. The rock type trainer felt the ground for a few seconds and stood up. The grass was moist and the soil was healthy, not too many rocks under it ether. "This'll do nicely"

Lex smiled. He set up his tent, then gathered some sticks for a fire. He pulled out his Pokeball. "Klink, on standby!" The said Pokemon appeared. "Vicegrip." He pointed to the sticks. The Klink used Vicegrip, the friction starting the fire as Lex put some more substanstial wood on the new fire.

Quil pulled Rogenrola out of his backpack. 'We should find more wood' he thought to himself as he put the Pokemon on the ground. "Come" he said, walking into a mass of trees. The Pokemon followed its master, droning out when it found dry wood or fallen branches. They return with a good amount and rested it by the fire. "That should do" he said, sitting down. A slight rustle caught his attention like a magnet to a paperclip, making him look over, was it Adam? He rose to go see, but the small wolf like body tipped him off early, it was Poocheyana. Another one appeared from the bushes as well. "Lex, I think we're on somebodies turf!"

Quil brought out his ax slowly and Rogenrola stood by him. "I guess we have to start fighting tonight" he said. The two wolf Pokemon ran at the two trainers. Quil swiftly kicked the dog back and Rogenrola followed up with a Tackle, knocking it back further.

The next Poocheyana ran at Lex, the other leaping at Quil's neck, he slammed the hilt into the pokemons back, it barked and ran back into the bushes. He waited but it never returned nor did any others came out to fight him again.

Lex wrapped his whip around the Poochyena's leg, and picked it up and threw it back to the bushes.

It whimpers and shifts away, the forest slowly went quiet. The Rock type trainer flicked his ax closed and slipped it into his jacket. "That was almost simple...think we should move camp?"

Lex shook his head. "I've got some Repels in my bag." He took out said item, sprayed himself with one, then chucked one to Quill.

Lex smirked. "That's why I have a lot of them. I also have 2 Super Repels for when we go to sleep, as we don't want to wake up every couple of hours to reapply normal ones."
