"Oh yeah, Nobodies, I remember," Sylvia frowned. "And if I chose light or darkness? I take it light would be ineffective against other beings of light, and vice versa?"

"Exactly, though it's very unlikely you'll be fighting any light borne enemies outside of spars... I honestly don't know any malevolent threats that are light based." Daidara admitted.

Meanwhile...

Rexial felt a strange chill. It was as if every fiber of his being had cried out 'Oh, s***!' He chose to ignore it as best he could, and hope it didn't mean anything.

EDIT: <Yes, that WAS in response to the idea of Sylvia getting a Light-infused blade.>

"Uhh...right," Sylvia nodded, looking somewhat conflicted. "Hrrm...Archer?" She turned to look at the white haired female inquisitively. "Got any opinions on this?"

Naomi poked Sammy, and said,"You OK?" Sammy blinked a lot and said,"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Well, if it were me," Archer shrugged, "I'd engrave an elemental infuser rather than just attempt mixing light and dark. That way you'd have your bases covered if you met enemies of other elemental properties."

[Maverick Entity]

"The fates never cease to surprise me" Gunamnex said quietly to himself as he walked the streets of Twilight Town. From around a corner, Oxthmas appeared, flipping his special coin as usual.

"Something up boss?" He asked, his trademark smirk ever present on his face.

"So many matters have come up, it is troublesome to decide what to do" Gunamnex said with a sigh.

"Hey, I know what will cheer you up."

Oxthmas summoned a wave of coins from his sleeves, forming a portal like structure. From within, a view of a blue haired maiden resting in a room illuminated by the glow of the moon.

"Why don't you go visit her?" Oxthmas said with a slight nod.

Gunamnex put a hand to his forehead, the other hand kept at his side. He considered head slapping Oxthmas, but held back his emotions.

"We shall see" he said calmly, trying to hide a slight blush to his face.

<Yeah, I'm exactly 1000 posts behind in plot, and I'm all writers block with Yuki. :/

All I got is Zane and Sally's date plus a plot point with that, a ploy turn, unexpected date ending. Ect.>

<Well, we DO need all ongoing plots to come ot a halt for the main one. Y'know, savin' the world from X-Sigma? We have to do that, and then the timeskip will happen. Everybody's loose ends need to be put into a state wherein they can either be resolved offscreen, during the skip... resolve them before the skip... or they can continue after the skip.>

"Hmm..." Sylvia frowned at Archer's suggestion. "Yeah, but that kind of elemental power requires a great deal of magical talent to control correctly. Unlike you, I just ain't got the skill to command that power. The power of light and dark however...I feel like I can take a shot at. I have to beat Lance fair and square one day, you know." A cocky grin appeared on her face before she turned back to Daidara with a more serious expression. "I want the synthesis I asked for. The power of summoning...and the infused power of light and dark. First though..." She met his gaze evenly. "What are the weaknesses of a Nobody?"

Daidara smiled, "The keyblade. Though they do have other weaknesses, they vary from species to species... And that's an ambitious request. How much can you afford to pay? Smithing isn't free after all."

Eira looked across the barren frozen land. She pulled her keyblade out and opened a key hole. She walked through it. She looked at her home a 2 story building frozen with ice crystals growing out the side. In the middle was her family name Delacour. "My home. As cold as the moments I spent in it scaring me." She picked up a picture frame of her two best friends the only thing not dreary in the house. Except now that she thinks about it, its a memory she didn't want to remember.

"You're letting a grudge influence your choices?" Archer groaned. "Well, if he bothers you that much..." She shrugged and leaned against the wall, a replica of one of Daidara's weapons appearing in her hand with a flash of white as she examined it lazily.

Ignoring Archer's remark, Sylvia reached into her pocket, retrieving a patched-up bag of cloth, before tossing it carelessly to the smith. "It's what I managed to get from my training down in the woods this morning. Took a fair bit of collectin'. If you need more, think of this as an advance payment. And god forbid, should you dare to turn Sarah into a hunk of metal..." Sylvia's cobalt eyes flashed dangerously as she gritted her teeth at the mere thought of her beloved sword meeting such a fate. "We agreed?"

Daidara seemed unfazed by the threat and smiled, "Your sword is in good hands." He looked into the bag estimating the weight, "This should be enough, if you give me the sword now, I'll have it finished by tomorrow."

[ARanger]

"Right," Sylvia agreed hesitantly, resting her sword on the table as a hand gently stroked the faded emblem on the hilt before finally dragging her fingertips away reluctantly. "I leave her in your hands then." She turned to Nick and Archer, her eyes somber. "We ready to go? I might ask to loan a weapon at the castle if possible. I'm not stupid enough to run around this place completely unarmed."

Nick nodded, "I was just waiting for you. Should we just head back then?"

Lance smiled meekly, "That's why I'm worried. I don't want anyone getting hurt. Especially not you guys..."

Thalia hugged the young man tightly, her chin resting on his shoulder, "You don't have to worry. You aren't the only one that's grown stronger!"

"I could lend you one of mine," Archer offered with a grin as she straightened herself, the large sword in her hand vanishing in an instant.

<Sammy was just scared half to death by Eira, and Naomi tried to snap him out of it. Rexial's a little distracted at the moment, but he'll be back to training Sam once the guy's back to his senses.>

"Come on, Lance, you don't think any of us are that easy to kill!" Aleri exclaimed. "If there's one thing I've learned about us, it's that we die hard! ...Is that the right expression?"

<Ok then.>

Sammy said,"Now were were we--oh god damn it." He saw one of the Iron Giants getting back up. His left hand began to glow a bright red. He clenched into a fist and said a single word.

"Infierno."

And in a burst of flames and screams, the towering metal behemoth began to melt like ice. Sammy then said,"Now, where were we, Rexial?"

<Assuming you didn't mean Inferno, I'm going to ask why you chose the Spanish word for Hell. Just on account of how many people speak Spanish, and because of how many words just kinda sound better than Hell.>

Rexial shrugged. "Was there a reason you didn't do that when you were being pursued? Meh, no matter. So, let's get back to training. You'll have to deal with enemies who can use magical powers that change the rules of the game. There used to be a Nobody called Luxord who would create time limits, turn people - including himself - into cards to dice... he was a wild card. Er, no pun intended."

"Point is, you have to adapt to fight each person differently. I have my Shadowmeld ability, which makes it impossible to hit me unless I'm either letting you hit me, or everything's moving too fast for me to think perfectly straight. Different tactics apply to different people."
