Thank you. If it weren't for the fact that they were official characters and don't belong to any of us, they wouldn't be so freely usable. I mean, try writing Al doing something. Not only does it not come naturally to other writers, it's offensive to the writer. Which is me. So don't. I mean, it's not like anybody would want to write Al doing a gag when they've got their own characters for it.

@Gregar: Yeah, I'll concede that most of the time it tends to make a character awkward and clash with their original design, but if I did enough research into the character I'm sure I could pull off a semblance of what Al is like. Not the same as you might control him, but perhaps close enough. Despite this, my longest ongoing RP aside from TITAL had me initially taking hold of two characters that were conceptualized and designed by a friend of mine, and were a great experience of "okay, how does this character think? They are not me, and thus do not think like me", which proved invaluable. But I digress.

I'm sure I could do a fairly good job with Al or Rex, but certainly nowhere near what Nebula could do. As such, I'll stick to my own characters...and try to focus them down better. Looking back, I made a crapload of 2-D OCs...
