I'd also like to know... Under the assumption one of us wanted to, how would we handle training/grinding? Or what about training that doesn't involve other Pokemon, like Red/Blue etc did or Ash did in the Anime?

Probably just level-grind at night or when your teammates aren't around or something like that.

Just thought I'd leave a question here for Admin.

What's the situation with pokeballs? I understand that Bob will be in control of the encounters, but how will they be getting them? Are they still sold in PokeMarts? Or has Obsidian prohibited their sales in Hoenn since otherwise anyone could just capture Pokemon and rise against them? It would make sense as to why the professor has only so many starters available...

They'll be a rare commodity mostly found by infiltrating HQs of Obsidian. PokeMarts only sell healing supplies and other standard fare.

Actually, after looking back on when this takes place, I realized what I had planned doesn't quite work.

On a side note, I'm thinking about taking the Water trainer and making him sort of what Wally was in the Hoenn games. Sort of a friend of the group who works on his own agenda.

I just got Pokemon White and Black 2 and in one of them I decided to make one of them a bug only user like Adam I even traded over Snivy for a Wurmple. I am just wondering if anyone else had decided to do this.

Even though I can't vote, I'd just like to remind you that Riolu should be somewhat fatigued, having fought against Adam. Going by in-game rules, Quick Attack is losing PP, and he has no other methods of attack. In addition, the move types won't make much difference, since I don't think Snorunt has Ice moves yet, and Cain doesn't carry Ether because his History book drew special attention to how rarely they were used. That is to say, almost never because Pokemon Center.

Just food for thought.

Depends if PP exist in the RP, and if being in the Pokemon recovers energy.

And I think we can say we left Cain alone for like 1-2 hours.

Y'know, I was just thinking about how we're gonna have the trainers actually do some fighting, and I had an idea...I think a good way to do that might be to bring in Shadow Pokemon, a la Colosseum/Gale of Darkness. Of course, this isn't my RP, so I figured I'd just toss the idea out there. Thoughts, Admin? Or anyone else, for that matter.

That's incredibly plot relevant, and I don't know what's going on with the others, or what Admin thinks. We COULD just use an RNG based on encounters in an area.
