Where's Zeldaman? I mean, I've always been here just lost interest in role playing and fan fiction. Looks like I'm back to somewhat interested again.

Kyouko came sliding through with a bunch of bags, her snorunt holding smaller bags.

Wearing 4 pairs of sunglasses. One on her eyes, her head, her shirt and her left hand. "I'm sorry, did anyone miss me~?"

"Runt, runt, snoooo~?" Her snorunt mimicked.

Cain sighed. Finally! "Oh, hey. I was wondering where you were. Everyone else left already." And a damn long time ago at that!

<Any mind-reading pokemon would have a field-day with Cain.

Anyway, Zeldaman hasn't been around for a couple of pages of TITAL, but he might be tied up for New Years, so I'm not too worried about it...yet.>

Removing her sunglasses she had on her eyes with her right hand she had a curious look. "Oh, we was leaving now? I'm sorry".

She then put a new(er) pair from her left hand. "No worries. We'll just have to push it the limit!"

Her snorunt on her shoulder wearing identcle sunglasses now.

Oh, yeah I got you something. Reaching into a bug she brought out a t-shirt that read "My fabulous friend and her equally fabulous Pokenon left me in a PokeMart and went shopping and all she got me was this lousy shirt".

The glasses falling to the bridge of her nose she actually had the same curious look. "It's more coincidental than you would think".

Cain was strongly tempted to facepalm, but held it back. Instead, he just blinked. "This just feels planned now..." he said simply. "Alright, well, I'd say it's around time to get going."

"Sno Sno?" The Pokemon said.

"Whats that? I don't speak Pokése".

"Sno Sno!" It pointed at the bag. "Runt" Then at the trainer.

"Oh....you're right!" She looked at the trainer. "Hey, if you can beat me in a Pokémon battle, I'll buy you whatever you want!"

Cain looked over at his teammate. Everyone else is already gone...we don't have time for this. ...Then again, we don't exactly have time to lose either... He shrugged. "Alright, whatever." He tossed his pokeball into the air, releasing Riolu, who cracked its back, glad to get some fresh air now that the crowd wasn't quite so packed.

Snorunt jumped out landing on its feet. "Sno!"

"Wait, what moves you know again?" Kyouko confused....

Cain didn't have to say a word. Riolu was smart enough to jump to the side, then go into a forward roll and uppercut Snorunt in the stomach. Cain allowed himself a quick smirk before he said, "Not bad at all."

"Snorunt!" Kyouko was sad herself, tears forming, she ran and hugged her Snorunt crying just as loud as her. "Meanie!" Kyouko said in between crying.

Cain's eye twitched. He was this close to losing it. First she takes forever in the shop doing who-knows-what, then she calls him a "meanie" for attacking in a battle, which can only be won by attacking? Sure, they were allies, but holding back in training wouldn't get them anywhere. There's no way to measure improvement if you're not going all-out.

Hold on! commanded a fading voice in his head. You don't need to go making enemies! You still cover each other's weaknesses and have a mutual need! It was the only thing forcing him to keep his composure. He had more patience with people than most others did, but shielding your pokemon and calling your opponent "mean" was certainly not the way to win, and a terrible way to get on his good side.

Riolu backstepped, once again without command. Maybe I should consider letting them win...Okay, considered and denied. Someone needs to teach these two it's not all happy times. "Riolu. Quick Attack," said Cain, all emotion drained from his voice. Riolu rushed at Snorut and appeared to vanish for a moment before reappearing directly in front of its opponent, front-flipping over it, and landing as it dropped an elbow toward Snorunt's back.

Riolu wasn't affected too much by the cold, though ice crept up from the one elbow, making it as good as useless for the moment. Riolu jumped backward to avoid more ice and was about to go for another attack when Cain said, "Wait."

Riolu looked back over its shoulder curiously. "Rio?"

"Foresight first."

Riolu nodded, and began thoroughly examining Snorunt to see what it would do next.

To death? Leer wasn't an attack! It was a stat-reducer! Ugh... "Quick Attack," said Cain simply, ignoring the aggravation that was rising in him.

Riolu dashed forward and again attacked Snorunt, Foresight allowing it to know exactly where--and if--Snorunt would try to dodge.

Cain sighed. It's not that big a deal, it's just unconscious... he thought, hoping the sigh hadn't made him sound like a total ass. He went over to a nearby tree and picked a Sitrus Berry. He handed it to Kyouko and offered a handshake. "Nice job," he said. Ignoring the fact that you didn't hit me once...
