"Cool," said Tsuchi, nodding. "And yeah, we should probably check on the guy. Last I checked, he had my lance in his stomach. And I'm not even sure who else I've stuck that thing into." He then realized the implications of his statement, and turned red. "Y-you know what I mean!"

Shane manages a faint ghost of a smirk at the prospect. "I thought you were holding the shaft quite expertly, Master Dragoon. But yes, you should watch whom you plunge it into... you may find that it bites." Slowly standing, Shane dusts himself off. "We should return... his master said he won't likely die from bleeding out, as the target is somewhat trained in healing spells... Nonetheless, return we will."

Tsuchi groaned and placed a hand on his forehead. "Note to self...don't talk..." He walked off slowly back toward the city.

"Shouldn't we hurry, though?" Kiel asked, putting it together in his head. If they had been fighting the guy, and he could heal, he had probably figured out that people were attacking him, and had only left because of serious trouble... wouldn't the target have healed himself and run?

Shane tries to pick up his speed at Kiel's urging, but can only manage a limping power walk. "He's been slowed, and he's lost a lot of.. a lot of fluid. He won't have the strength to do much other than wait and recover, were he able to cast spells... I had forgotten, yes. Nevertheless... we should make haste."

"Haste..." mumbled Tsuchi. "I think I can manage that." He cast Haste on Shane. "Kiel, you and me don't need that, do we? He kinda does, on account of, y'know...we beat the crap out of him."

"Y-yeah." Kiel stuttered, thinking about the fact that he just beat up his current boss. Somehow, he had thought of what it would be like if he had beaten up Sargent Rosch, or Stocke. The result would not have been pretty. Plus, he could never match them in battle to begin with. He shook himself free of these thoughts, moving faster to compensate for Haste.

Tsuchi walked along faster than normal, mostly because it was his own lance that was in the target's stomach. If things turned south, not only would he be at fault--he DID know healing spells, and could have used one--he would also be short one weapon.
