Just watched the beginning episode of Jormungand, it's this year's black lagoon in a sense.

Gosick is something everyone needs to see as well.

Oh now you respond to that. I'll start it up tonight while I'm "working". I need to something after finishing Haibane Renmei, can't believe I forgot how much of an emotional wreck that one left me last time. It's more of a slice of life style anime, but by god it is a beautiful tale.

Yeah, there was definitely attention directed towards Zatch Bell. Which makes sense, it had Magically Mortalized Midgets(I love alliteration).

Not to mention it was one of the programs that Toonami featured at one time.

I remember the name Zatch Bell...I don't remember how often, or even if, I watched it. I remember Yu Yu Hakusho though. (Another one off of toonami.)

While I admit that Yu Yu Hakusho is a good one. I feel that it got the attention that it deserved, as did most anything that was on Toonami. I'm looking for titles that are good but got overlooked. For example I honestly hadn't heard of any of the ones that Maverick suggested (don't give me that look!! I'm looking into them) just as kh had never heard of Haibane Renmei.

Also I've said this one before but I do feel that it got overlooked due to how late it was that it came on.

I've heard of it from the local Anime Club... Or, well, a couple of its members. And I see the name on TVTropes once in a while.

Hrm, I can't think of any obscure ones that deserved attention. I mean, I HEAR about obscure ones, and then plan to watch them... But, for some reason, once I watch something, it turns out that it's not nearly as obscure as I thought.

2 out of 5 I haven't heard of XGeass not bad. Been meaning to watch Darker than Black, heard of Baccano and Fairy Tail.

And Nebula go ahead and name some, it's really all about personal opinion on whether or not it got attention.

Err... Rurouni Kenshin, maybe? I don't recall whether it was ever popular, but it kicked ass.

Eh, I'll let rurouni slide, it was popular imo but I don't feel it is one of the mega popular overhyped ones like the four I mentioned in my first post

I'm just kidding. It hasn't been Dubbed yet, so it hasn't had the chance to be popular here in the US... or, at least, to be rediculously overhyped. Then again, Persona 4 has been unusally popular lately... So maybe it doesn't count.

Also, dammit, XGeass, I was going to say Darker than Black! I've only seen the first 9 or 10 episodes, but my point remains! I can't have nice things. You can figure that reference out yourselves.

I'm also debating putting up Afro Samurai. I know the character is popular, but I don't know if he originated in the anime or the video game. I haven't played the game and I've only seen the first episode of the anime.
