Me too I squealed like a giddy school girl ^_^ me and a bunch of online friends were sitting in a livestream(audio only) watching it (on tv)...and commentating (during commercials) great way to cap off saturday night. I see myself being a fan of deadman and casshern ( not quite as much deadman personally, like it just not as much....personal tastes and all)

Well at the moment Toonami doesn't have alot of money since AS doesn't really think it will work out. But if the ratings are high enough it may come on. I personally want Darker Than Black to be on toonami.

I don't think it's just about money because AS pretty much carries CN right now. But also about content of shows and who owns dubs of the shows. I believe they have some kind of deal with funimation. But I can see them doing Black Lagoon and maybe Darker than Black if toonami catches on. (don't much about Jormungand....yet).

No Steven Blum the voice for Tom flat out said that Toonami doesn't have much money.

So, what do we think of the change in the lineup? I haven't seen Samurai 7 or Eureka 7, but as for the shows we'll be losing, well, DW's over and I like that there switching to something new. (to them, at least) As for FMA:B, to be honest, I was never a huge fan to begin with. Nothing against it, I just prefer the original.

I never saw Samurai 7 and I only saw bits and pieces of Eureka 7 so that will be nice. As for shows we will be losing I would say Deadman (obviously), also of to read the manga to it, and Cowboy bebop since that ended tonight to.

No, they said the time slots would be 12:30 and 1:30(or an hour earlier, depending on your time zone). The shows in those slots were Deadman and Brotherhood.

I haven't seen Samurai 7 but have heard good things about it. As for Eureka 7 it is one of my absolute favorites (I own all the Dvd's and the manga's). However Im currently unsure if it will actually come in next week or not, as I checked my guide for it and only Samurai had been listed the rest were the usual.
But that may not mean anything.

Also to alleviate any possible fears, regarding the loss of Deadman. It's only the end of SEASON 1 of Deadman, which only aired in japan LAST year. (I did my research).

Fun Fact: The same illustrator for Deadman also wrote and illustrated Eureka 7.

Just kidding. I just happen to be a fan of anime and useless knowledge haar sheesh. Also after further research I'm unsure if season 2 of deadman wonderland will happen or not as it wasn't that popular where it mattered (Japan) apparently.

Further Fun Fact: The Deadman Wonderland manga while ongoing is currently on hold due to the author being on hiatus due to pregnancy.

P.S. My fun facts come from the source of all true knowledge and Wisdom.

Off to read the manga I guess.
