"Hmph..." The creature recoiled from the attacks slightly, "Try and resist, your attempts are nothing but futile."

Slowly, it began to get darker, the moon had suddenly appeared massivly large in the sky and was slowly moving to block the sun.

"We won't give in!" Yosuke yelled as he jumped into the air and kicked both his kunai into the creature's abdomen pulling them back out with a gust of wind afterwards.

I threw thw twin blades in the air and then in a burst of black engery I started to throw thousands and thousands of fire balls and bursts of ice then finished the combo. With a large bolt of lightning

The entity shuddered from the force of the attacks, "Perish." He spoke and he waved his hand and meteors appeared from nowhere flying at the group.

Lixan threw the anti-matter up before yelling, "Break!" The anti-matter exploded, then created a vacuum of shockwaves, before firing them out, making buildings crumble. Lixan then jumped directly into the shockwaves, flying at breakneck speeds, and pulling out the Zantetsusken. "You can't live when you want to destroy everything, it's just slow suicide. Thus!" He charged at the being, passing straight through it.

Chie stepped forward summoning her card and breaking it with a single kick, "Agneyastra!" Metoers of her own countered several of the creature's striking Eon.

Nick cast Makarakarn, "Let's end this! Rewflect the meteors back at him!" He punched one with a Hammerfist knocking it back. Makarakarn made this easy as everyone now repelled magic.

Lixan looked back, seeing that Eon barely had a scratch on him. "Oh. I'm doomed."

The entity laughed murderously, "Correct." It fired a powerful red shockwave from it's palm knocking the group back, "Cower and die."

"Keep fighting! We can't lose here!" Souji yelled as he picked himself up from the shockwave attack, summoning his persona delivering a powerful slash into Eon's chest.

"This will not be where I fall!" Naoto agreed as she stood and summoned Yamato dropping a Mind Charged Megidoloan on the creature.

"I cannot falter now" I said then I jumped on Xetus then flew at high speed with the twin swords in tow as flames erupted on us. We slammed into Eon's eye. I was way off course but half blind was a start

Necro let loose the biggest surge of lightning he'd ever created. Enough to put five tesla coils to shame. "I won't be the Jedi that disappeared!"

Lixan was sent flying backwards by the blast, landing on his feet next to Naoto. He then ran at the entity, firing spells at it before bouncing off a building and firing more spells.

The creature faltered for a moment from the multitude of blasts, "Mere mortals cannot defeat the likes of me." It rose its hand to the air and black and red energy began to gather there. It seemed the power of the two celestial beings above were being absorbed into his hand. With its free hand, Eon fired rays of black and red energy into the group. These exploded on impact.

Nick braced himself and managed to fend off a majority of the damage from the assault before he crushed a Bead Chain in his palm healing the others nearest him, Layla, Naoto, and Necro.

Hades was the one to launch a counter-attack this time, "I am you pillar. Your guardian." He spoke as he fired a massive beam of electricity at the entity.

Lixan was hit by one of the blasts. He wasn't hurt much though, as the blast of energy only grazed him. "I'll need more weaponry. Be back soon." He created a human sized hole and jumped through it.

I was sent realing from the blast but regained my balance before we touched the ground. I closed my eyes and flew up ward as Xetus started to turn into pure engery and flowed into me

Eon's outstreched hand lowered as a malevolent scythe appeared there. The sky grew darker till the city was pitch black, save for Layla, Nick, Naoto, and Souji all of which were using Hama skills to create a small amount of light. From somewhere in the darkness, Eon spoke, "Beware what lurks in the dark mortals..."

Most of the group had made thier way to the light now. Nick was continuosly blasting fireballs into the darkness where they collided head-on with disturbing creatures incinerating them. Occasionally, the creatures can be seen.

Then, as one of the fireballs traveled through the dark, Yosuke and Chie were seen, heading owards the group. The blast hit one of the creatures behind them as Chie eye's widened in surprise, "Yosuke!" She yelled knocking him to the side before a split-second later she dissappeared into the dark. Yosuke following her. Two yells were heard then silence.

"Two are gone. How long will the others survive?" Eon chuckled darkly within the darkness.

"NO! DAMMIT! NO MORE!" Souji fired a flurry of lightning into the darkness where it struck Eon who responded by grazing the entire group with the scyth.

"You will regret that... Mortal." Deep in the darkness, inhuman sounds were heard, more of the creatures from before.

I plunge into the darkness Romtom was gone but I could see through the shadows as I hacked down the freakish creatures one by one killing the one that took Chie and yosuke first. "I fear no darkness"

Abigail followed Leo into the mayhem of the darkness, "Perhaps... I can be of assisstance." Leo's vision cleared as he saw everything in tones of blue. He saw through the darkness and could esily see where the creatures were. Abigail helped Leo by firing blasts of various magic at the creatures that seemed to either not notice or fear her.

In the small lit circle, Nick and Souji continued to defend te others against oncoming atacks when on broke the line of defense, tackling Dojima and Kanji into the blackness.

"NO!" Layla and Naoto had entered the defensive stance now firing thier own magic sporadically when they heard a sound that wasn' Leo or Abigail.

I flicked my new blades twice and laughed coldly. "I'm actually starting to get bored." I said as I slit a monsters head clean off and looked in the direction of the noise then ran at it without a moments thought

Necro ignited both his and his master's lightsaber, letting them provide what light they could. He noticed a creature in front of him and slashed upward across the chest with his master's blade, then turning around and impaling it with his own. Afterwards he pulled the blade over his head and the creature was knocked off and, without Necro realizing it, slammed into another one.

A blast of black and red energy knocked Souji off a balance and a split second later, he and Rise were gone, into the blackness.

Nick slammed his fists together, "NO! NOW IT"S YOUR TURN EON!" He stomped his feet into the ground and all around the creatures were impaled by black spires of Infection.

Necro felt a sudden pulse of energy, "Necro!" Naoto was at his side, he shoved him and fired a round at an approaching demon that shrugged it off before tackling her into the night. Another right after caught Necro off guard as it slammed into him.

Layla and Nick were the last two standing in Nick's hardly contained light circle. Nick was seething with rage, fury, and wrath. He continued to fire blast after blast into the night but it failed him as the creatures overwhelmed the two as the last light flickered out.

Abigail and Leo were faced with ludicrous numbers and they too eventually lost to the unending tide.

Fin?

"Never! I won't give up! This is our last chance to fix this! To take back our lives!" Nick yelled with fervor as he picked himself up within a blackened void. Here in, Eon could be seen in his true form, a gruesome skeleton weilding a wicked black and red scyth.

Layla stood up as well, "I won't ever give in!" No matter what!"

Naoto fought her way to her feet, "Submit to the likes of you? Never."

Necro stood as well. "Please. I rose from the Dark Side of the Force. Compared to that, resisting you'll be a cakewalk."

I struggled to my feet. "Pft my tale has yet to be completed. I'm not going to bow now" I said as I summoned the twin blades again in a wave of frost and jet of flames. "I've killed the f*cking Kraken, i'd be damned if I died now"

Eon laughed maniacally, "You fools believe you have a chance to stand against I, Eon, the endless one?" A blast of energy is sent out over the group toppling them with a concussive force.

Nick struggles to his feet holding his now broken arm, "I'll never give in!" He fires a blast of Hamaon at Eon but the creature simply laughs it off.

"It is hopeless, why try to resist?" Eon spoke.

Layla glared at the creature as she stood again, "Because we're fighting to claim the future that we were denied! We want our lives back!" She too fired a blast, this time of ice but again it was shrugged off.

"Death can come to anyone at anytime..." Eon said menacingly.

Naoto grimaced as she stood feeling a broken rib or two, "You were the one that caused my grandfather's death! You'll pay for that." A Megidoloan hit Eon square in the face but the entity didn't react whatsoever.

Souji rose as well, supporting an injured leg with the help of Izanami, "We'll end this! We'll be the one's to reclaim our future!" He roaredas a blast of flame consumed Eon only to find him unscathed.
