Oh, did you know? You can preform a more heavy-handed combo in Valor Form using the Square Button. Fewer hits for bigger damage, so not recommended for grinding, but it's still pretty neat when you need to interrupt attacks FAST, or just deal a lot of damage at once. It's like a combo made of nothing but finishers. You probably DID know, though, since you played the hell out of KHII...

Yeah, but it's all gucchi, man. It was one of those things I didn't know about at first. And then I went and actually read the abilities section XD.

So, sum total update, Xemnas went to go see Aqua's Armor, and for some reason apparently it talks back to him? I guess? That's what I inferred from a following cutscene that took place back when they had JUST recruited Marluxia, and Xiggy mentions this as "his new name is Mar-something, ain't it?". The second scene takes place in TWTNW, where Vexen confronts Zexion, asking for Xemnas. Zexion apologizes, and tells him that Xemnas went to the Chamber of Sleep. Vexen departs, in a huff. Zexion tries to leave, but Xigbar mentions that he's been listening to Xemnas when he goes there. Zexion comments on Xigbar's spying, and Xigbar gives him the hand wave. Xigbar then talks about the Champer of Sleep, and the Chamber of Waking. Supposedly, since one "friend" of his is in the Chamber of Sleep, perhaps the other is in the Chamber of Awakening?

And then fight with Demyx. It didn't turn out bad, it wasn't too hard (then again I was just barely overlevelled [33 for a Battle Level 30]). After the Thousand Heartless battle, I saw an additional scene where Saix convenes with the others, and they all talk about going forward. They express surprise that Sora got this far in the first place, and that if Sora were gone, it wouldn't affect their plans. Luxord says something (I forget) and Xaldin cautions him "Make sure you don't get a wrong dice roll, else you'll end up like Demyx." Xaldin then asks if everything will be done soon, and Xemnas confirms this. Xaldin then says "Good. I couldn't take much more of this anyway."

I got an Akashic Record, too! Fuck yeah! Dat 7 strength! If only I could get a Shaman's Relic... Oh well. It'll have to do.

I'm gonna go synthesis grind for a second, and evaluate the use of having either Slide Dash or this new move: Flash Step. Which supposedly works like Slide Dash, but it breaks an enemies guard.

Ah, what else is new...?

I can't really think of anything, but for now I'm going to do like I said: synth grind (From the Borough of HB to the Crystal Fissure) and when I get there I'm gonna head for the LoD.

Finally beat Larxene's Absent Silhouette! I'm not going to take on any more for a while though... (Lexaeus is in Twilight Town and Marluxia is in Beast's Castle).

Also... when Jack grabbed Sora's Keyblade... wasn't it similar to the "passing on" ceremony used for bestowing the Keyblade?

After I do the Roxas fight I'm gonna go grind like hell. I'll also go through the Cavern of Remembrance (which is a pain in the ASS) and beat the Silhouettes.

I did. You don't sound bad at all, but it's a little cut-off towards the end, and calling it the first part of your LP is probably a bad idea.

I haven't been on all day, 'cuz I've been playing, myself! Normal KHII. And looking through it... it almost looks like they deliberately left out content to make FM with. So many empty spaces where they should've put things, a few doors that never open, plot points that don't QUITE work out.

Good to hear. And you know how a lot of the Heartless are blue or other simple colors? Lots, and lots, of recolorings. You guys are gonna get flooded with them. And tell me about where you think certain things might go, or where something should be.

Beat Halloween Town, and I'm halfway through the Pride Lands. Here's what I'm thinking on doing from there.

Finish Pride Lands.
Do Twilight Town final visit.
Do TWTNW until Roxas fight.
Go back and level grind.
Fight Absent Silhouettes
Grind more.
Cavern of Remembrance.
Finish TWTNW
Do the Tournaments
Beat the game
Beat Terra.

And you guys get to decide the order of the Silhouette fights, and what levels I grind to!

Nebula, sit the first one out at least, since you were first poster for the last one.

And Minimum level for grinding is 55.

After leveling twice, going and using ALL of my stat upgrades, and dying another five times on top of the ten that I had before all of that, I still BARELY one. I got Final form, I'm gonna go grind all my Forms up, then Level grind the Summons, then level grind until 70 because no one else posted one, Lex, Vex, Marly, do the Cavern, Finish any and all loose ends, and then prepare my anus for Terra.

As I recall, though, the odds went something like "25 Final, 75 Anti" then "50 50" and so on until it was guaranteed Final...just what I've heard though, and I could well be wrong. So, really, on your first go at Final Form, you're going into Anti three times at most by that, and then you can just put Two Become One on standby forever...

When you eventually take Sephiroth on, I'd highly recommend going to lvl 80, and for Terra, lvl 90 at least. ****ing attack seal...

Note: Those lvl figures are only suggestions that I thought of. On my Proud run, I was lvl 99 when I beat Seph.

At the level I am (45) I could probably take on Seph if I have the Holy Pimpcane equipped and I go all-out on him... but I need my Form abilities, too. So until I get at least Glide 2 I'm gonna hold off on that.

Yeah, but in reality it took me like seven tries to get it... and maybe I only got it because I reset? Maybe. I dunno. It still took a fuckload of tries, though.

Also, some cutscenes I forgot to mention! After Axel dies, the Org. convenes yet again, and they discuss Axel's passing, and why he's so pitiful. Again. Though Xemnas says at the end "perhaps if it woke up something in Axel... maybe it woke him up too." Zoom in on Roxas's seat. DUN DUN DUN.

Asshole boss fight later: we get the silent Axel and Roxas scene. Roxas and Axel appear to be communicating... somehow. Idk. They're talking with knowledge of what just happened, yet they're in Twilight Town. Maybe how Xion communicated with Riku in Days, and how she saw Axel and Roxas as well? Anywho, they talk about how Roxas may have a heart, and they wonder if Sora would know the answer to it. Roxas believes so, and they share their last ice cream together. They part as Axel sheds a tear. And! There's a mini-clip with an extended version of Roxas's naming scene. After his old name shows up, Xemnas tells him it's impossible for Roxas not to feel, that he has to feel, in a way. Xemnas asks if Roxas wants purpose, and Roxas weakly nods. The letters spin, and the scene goes on as normal.

GRIND TIME.

Got all my Forms maxed out. Sweet mother of all that is good, FINAL FUCKING FIRAGA, GUYS. HOLY SHIT. HOLY. SHIT. There are no words to describe how it feels to take down a BERSERKER with only one spell. NO WORDS.

Since I'm in the lower fifties, I'm gonna go pay Sephiroth a preliminary visit. Wish me luck!
