Leaning back in the chair, Athez watched Gregor for a moment before asking, "Something I was wondering, the both of you seem to have lost most of your memory yet you recognized me, at least a little bit. Do you have any idea what did this to you?"

"Lead the way." Julie said this with a smile on her face, her fingers intertwining with Minato's.

Blake stumbled backwards, hitting a nearby tree. He steadied his balance, and he then rushed forward, sending an uppercut flying at Rexial.

Gregor looked down in shame, "I think... It might've been me. The form I take now is tamed, controlled by Filia's willpower. But, if she gets angry, and her control slips..."

Samson growled at himself, "I become more of a monster until she cools down and can reign me in again... She loses a bit of memory every time it happens... And last time... I was raging for so long, I began to consume her, I began to forget what she looked like... If that odd girl hadn't beaten me back down..." Samson slammed a fist on the counter top shaking the plates resting there, "Godammit, kid, I want you to promise me something."

Rexial leaned back, Blake's fist barely missing his chin, before unleashing a flurry of slashing attacks from directly in front of him. "I'm not expert on fisticuffs, but I think uppercuts are usually finishers, not combo starters."

Athez sighed and rubbed his brow, "I knew she couldn't remember much while you were in control like that, I thought she just wasn't conscious then." Glancing back up at Gregor, he asked, "I'm assuming you want me to keep you from going that far again, yes?"

Gregor nodded stoically, "If I ever go out of control again, I want you to kill me. One blow, it has to Peirce both if my eyes simultaneously. Promise me if I ever get loose, that you'll at least save Filia." Samson said as he sat down at the table, hair running to the floor where Filia slept curled in it and smiling comfortably.

Athez groaned under his breath, before answering him. "It's never some easy promise with you, is it? If you ever go that far, I'll do what I need to, but I'm not gonna let it happen, got it?"

Gavin slowly spoke up. "If you're going to ask someone to kill you, you damn well and good better at least TRY to uphold your end of the bargain." He shrugs and spreads his hands. "At least that's my two bits, I can't say too much else."

Filia began to stir as Samson withdrew back into her hair returning to his usual form.

"Ugh..." Filia stood up holding her head in her hands, "I feel like I was hit by a truck... What... happened?" She asked in a pained voice.

Athez just grins teasingly as he tells her, "Well, you got totally wasted and when I tried to help you, you just threw yourself at me. I'm pretty sure the neighbors heard."

Athez eyes shot open in shock for a second before he exclaimed, "Whoa there, Chief! I was just teasing you, don't start crying! It was a joke!" Facepalming, he continued, "Forgot you're not quite the same as I remembered, didn't mean to make ya cry."

Athez rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin on his face, "Yeah, I realize that Chief. Just gotta get used to how you are now." Pausing for a second, he snaps his fingers and adds, "I think I know something that'll make you feel better."
