 Blake finished the Neoshadow off with a vertical slash, and hopped on the blade. He jumped up to the ceiling, divebombing in, noticing a Defender.
"Defender..."
He darted towards the shielded Heartless, his arms extended, his blade making his figure look like a dart. The tendrils of darkness twisted around his katana, like two serpents coiling around each other. And with a loud crash of metal...
"Defenseless."
The creature mentioned was skewered on Blake's well-earned sword. He then flicked his blade upwards, and then downwards, evicserating the monstrosity.
Julie stared at Blake and said,"Overkill,bro."
"To you, maybe." Blake says this in a joking manner.
<Zelda, Nebula advanced the date. I had Blake tell the man he had to go home.>

Rexial re-summoned his Dream Sword, repeating his jumping maneuver to get closer to the top.

<For the record, they WERE with Rexial, and Minato strolled in with a couple of girls before leaving, then a girl named Ave showed up. And your group was Pell and Puck, as Gavin had stayed home.>

"'Scuse me, comin' through, pardon!" Rexial sprinted up the few remaining steps, whipping right past Riku and Skife - he's fast, y'know? - and generally doing his best to dodge the Heartless when he could, but making sure to backstab any Defenders he ran into. Those things were a nuisance in this situation, moreso than normal.

<I hated Defenders back when I was still in the "button-mashing will see me through Kingdom Hearts!" phase of idiocy. Well, the more literal version of that statement. Button-mashing is pretty effective in KHI and II, but they're getting better about it, at least. Now, the Defenders are just kind of annoying, if they turn around in the middle of my combo, or if they form a solid wall, or if I'm on a narrow platform in Hollow Bastion and don't want to have to climb around outside to get back up...>
<Hm? Oh, right, I'm actually supposed to be in charge of this little incident. My bad.>

At breakneck speed, he slammed into the surface at the end of the stairs, crashing through and landing on the next floor. "...I should probably wait for everybody to get up here before I move on."

"Damn he's fast. Time to step up my game. Haste!" Skife casted the spell on himself, and began ripping through the Heartless, making his way towards the ceiling.

Rexial began making pinpoint sword-throws, trying to cut down the Heartless in the paths of the others in an attempt to help them get up faster. "I guess this beats doing nothing."

Skife reached the top of the stairs, ramming through the ceiling surface to the next floor where Rexial waited.

Riku saw Rexial heading straight up through the trapdoor, and smirked at his Wyvern. "Won't be needing you anymore, sorry!" With that, he jumped off its head and threw his sword at it in a Strike Raid. As he caught it, he backflipped up through the door and landed perfectly beside the two who had already made it.

"Alright, Blake, you need any help down there?" Rexial called down at the last remaining party member.

Blake grabbe the Defender's fallen shield, and with a rather hellish scream for a 19 year old man, threw it at a Large Body, destroying it rather impressively.
"I'm good!"
Julie, on the other hand, was with Rexial and the others when she said,"Get up here!"
Blake chuckled. "But this is fun!"
"Dammit Blake, GET UP HERE!"
"Fine! Calm down." He ran up to the others.
<I really wanted to make Blake completely ignore Julie and start dancing while he was killing Heartless.>

Rexial nodded, the group being assembled. "Alright. As you can see..."

He pointed to the walls, which had vertical rails and four inactive machines set up, then to the ceiling, which had a set of stairs leading from the door to the top room to... ten feet below said room.

"...This entire room is an elevator. Anybody know how to work this thing? Skife, Blake? Riku? Skife's a scholar, maybe he knows how this stuff works, Blake's acquainted with machines, and Riku, you have a Keyblade, which tends to just... make stuff work. I might be able to figure out how to get this thing moving, with a little time, but it might be faster for somebody else to do it. ...Unless there's a way to get up there without bothering with this elevator, which has probably been set up with a few traps."

<...How would Rex know whether Riku has a Keyblade? All he's used up to this point is Soul Eater...I've actually been careful about that...>

Rexial caught the look Riku gave him. "...Huh? What?" He sighed. "Sorry, I assumed you had a Keyblade... you've clearly got the potential to wield one. My bad."

"I'll take a look, and see if I can get these things working... whatever they are..."

"I'm sure the mechanism will be easy to figure out." Rexial stated, walking over to one of them and kneeling next to it. "Still, it might be tougher than I give it credit for."

"Screw it, doing it." Blake said this with a smile that made Julie smile as well.
"Blake, don-"
"EVERBODY DANCE NOW!" Blake sang this in an impressive falsetto, hopped down to the floor below them, and started to dance as he was slaying Heartless by the dozen.

Skife watched as Blake danced, slaying Heartless. "...I'm not even going to ask." He turned to the mechanisms in front of him, examining them closely.

"When did the Heartless get h-" Rexial started, but was interrupted as the floor began to shake. "The hell?!"

He took a closer look at the mechanism he was kneeling next to. "It responded to... so, then... yeah! It looks like rapid, sudden movement actually triggers the elevator, and keeps it moving! Makes not sense, but we're rollin' with it! Just kill the Heartless or dance until we reach the top! Me? It's not like there's a difference!"

The swordsman summoned his blade into his hand before charging into the Heartless that had appeared, slashing right through. As he did so, the floor was raised, just a tiny bit...

"This is totally asinine, but just go with it, or we'll never find out what the hell is going on here!"

<Anybody want to hurry on up to the top?>

<Anyone else picturing Blake swinging his weapon side-to-side repeatedly while doing the moonwalk? And yeah, we don't need a fight scene with generic Heartless...even if we did just ride Wyverns.>

As the floor began to move, Skife looked at the Heartless, before closing his eyes and clasping his hands, readying a spell.

"Let's make this quick..." Rexial cracked his knuckles before renewing his assault...

...And within minutes, they reached the top.

"That took too long." He muttered, casually dispatching one of the few remaining Heartless before making a dash for the stairs.

Riku followed, very casual considering the situation. He had his hands in his pockets, whistling, everything. Then again, it was mostly Shadows in the elevator, so he could have killed them by spitting on them, really...
