The Winnie the Pooh one was just a comparison, in my mind. The Calvin and Hobbes one struck a nerve, in a similar fashion to the Adventure Time one that we started with. However, the Calvin and Hobbes one is actually possible. Calvin's mom might put him on pills at some point that make him focus, and thus, he ceases to be the kid he once was, and Hobbes loses his status as a character, becoming nothing but a stuffed animal. The Adventure Time one is canonically impossible, unless he's in a REALLY elaborate coma dream. It's supposed to be post-apocalyptic.

The gore on the last one only disturbed me if I paid attention to it. The others... I didn't care as much, for some reason. Something about how the Calvin and Hobbes one is so plausible, and how it's exactly the same form as the original source... it bothers me. The others are not truly the same as their source.

Um...this has in no way affected my affection for my childhood. In no way. My memories are untouched, although the concept might be rather off.

And yeah, the ones with the Pokemon were very true. Though the first one is EXACTLY why they won't let you leave town in the beginning of any of the games.
